NATURE BY TRADITION

We are a private wine cellar established in 1978, and stretching over 25 hectares shared by a variety of vine plants. DOMAINE LA ROSIÈRE is a family operation located on hillside flanks, between 500 and 650 meters above sea level, in the arid Baronnies massif, at the south-eastern tip of Drôme Provençale.

THE LOVE OF WORK WELL DONE

We cultivate the vineyard by the "reasoned protection" principle.

This involves :

• having a technical network for insect and illness supervision in the plots
• accepting a clearly defined parasite tolerance level before acting
• when required, using only a choice of specific treatment products, specifically defined, and bearing no after-effects on the fauna and flora
• Finally, analysing the grapes at harvest time, to ensure there is a total absence of residues

So the vintage we receive in the wine-making cellar is perfectly "clean". There, Valéry LIOTAUD, a graduate "œnologue" prepares the wines bringing together the traditional methods used and perfected over generations, with the new possibilities technology allows for today.

SOIL TYPE AND CALM : THE WEALTH OF OUR VINEYARDS

Because we are very attached to a centenary savoir-faire, Coteaux de Baronnies are witnesses to a land that only cultivates the exceptional.

Domaine La Rosière was able to implant different vine plants, and thereby extract the most delicate tastes and aromas which charm the palates of œnophiles and amateurs alike.
